Aerodrome Reporting Officer / Works Safety Officer Course

Aerodrome Reporting Officer / Works Safety Officer Course

The Australian Airports Association has built on our existing and highly successful, ARO/WSO Refresher course to deliver an expanded and more detailed ARO/WSO-specific course which can be used in conjunction with field/operational based assessments as a substitute to face to face training.

The course is a comprehensive and interactive online course aimed at new AROs and WSOs and/or for existing AROs/WSOs who may be looking to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills in the performance of their duties.

Overview

This course is designed to provide the theoretical knowledge for persons who perform the role of Aerodrome Reporting Officer and Works Safety Officer at an Airport or Aerodrome.

The ARO/WSO Course details the skills and knowledge required to facilitate the safety of aerodrome operation, in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards.

This course addresses aviation non-technical skill requirements related to safety management duties of ground operations personnel, and contributes to safe and effective performance in complex aviation operational environments.
